Good for scooping cat litter
I buy 40 pound bags of equine bedding pellets to use as cat litter, pour the bag into a 10 gallon Brute round trash can, and then scoop the pellets into the litter box with this scoop. It's sturdy, shaped well to hold the material, and is big enough that I can fill my litter box to the height needed with 5-10 scoops. Most other scoops are smaller, so this one is perfect if you're looking for a sturdy, big scoop.

For the price, I half expected this scoop to fall apart as quickly as the last one... I am pleasantly surprised that it takes my abuse! I have a ten-pound dog food feeder I fill up once a week, and I want it done quickly and efficiently, I don't want to have to gently scoop the kibble so as to not break the handle/scoop. This works perfectly.

Good for adding fresh litter
I know this is a food scooper, but in my opinion, it's too bulky for that. I never intended to use it for food. I bought it for litter. I buy the 35 lb buckets of clumping cat litter. I leave this scooper inside the fresh litter pail & use it on a regular basis to gradually add more litter to the litter box. It's a good size for that.

Good sized food scoop for pet food, just not for itty-bitty cat food!
Bought it to use for feeding felines. Too big for my needs. Not sure what I was thinking! The scoop is marked along the sides of the scoop from 1/2 a cup to 2 cups one way and up to 1 1/2 cups the other way. The sticker says 3 cups. My scoop was made in Bangladesh. The handle is pretty decent in diameter and feels fairly sturdy (better plastic than the $1 store stuff). It is fairly large, see can inside scoop. Wished it would have work for my needs.

Oh Great Scoop, hear my admiration and devotions. You have saved me from having to use a cup from the cupboard (that always seem to be missing since no one else seems to know how to do dishes or bring them back to the kitchen). My dogs will no longer have to wait as long to receive the blessing and tiding of their Racheal Ray Grain-Free Premium dog kibble. I am able to fill their feeded without maximum effort.

Superb product as a dog food scooper.
Great plastic three-cup size dog food scoop. It might be good for other uses, but best, in my honest opinion, for scooping large amounts of dry dog food from large bags into smaller containers. Perfect tool. Although lightweight, very sturdy construction, and has no propensity to break. Would easily purchase again and recommend to dog kennels.

I don't use this for food. I use it to replenish litter and it is working out great. I mean what am I going to say? It's a scoop, it is nice and strong, no real flex when scooping, it has a good capacity. I am sure it would scoop food just as well as it does litter... Please don't use it for both. Just buy two and keep track of which is which... Otherwise you are a monster. Also, in case you were wondering, the scoop we do use for food is smaller. A scoop of this size would not do at all. Big mess.

Best Ergonomic Pet Food Scoop!
Great Scoop for Our Dog Food. Love the gripping on the perfect sized handle, and how very sturdy this Scoop is. So easy to use because of slanted front design, and keeps the Kibble from falling out of the Scoop. Can use it in a Bag of dog food/kibble, or easily from a Pet Food Container. Done both with ease and no issues. This truly is a steal because it is used for our Hungry eating huge German Shepherd several times a day and there is not one crack in it. Very very Sturdy. Love the color too!

Bigger than I thought and sturdy
Nice scooper that feels sturdy and can scoop a lot at once. It's even bigger than I thought, which for me is a plus. I got this to scoop clean litter out of the big bags and boxes to pour in the litterbox because it's too heavy for me to lift the big bags I get, but I don't want to have to make 50 small scoops to change it. It would be good too for scooping large quantities of food out of large bins or bags (like maybe for multi-animal households).

Good for Wood Pellets
I bought this scoop to use for adding wood pellets to my pellet stove. I leave it in a covered bin near my stove and use it to scoop quick refills into my stove when I don't want to add in a whole new bag. It works great, is very sturdy, and scoops up a good amount of pellets without being too heavy or overflowing and spilling them everywhere. I also like that it is plastic so I don't ding my metal stove by accident if I tapthe edge of it when filling it up.
